A Twisted Story

Twisted Cuisine opened on February 28, 2006. At a time when her life was changing a bit, Rhonda Bell did some soul searching and discovered her two passions in life – Food and People. Rhonda went back to school to study culinary arts and shortly after opened her first restaurant. Originally the restaurant didn't have a name. It wasn't until Rhonda and the original chef were working on their first menu that they realized some of the flavor combinations were a little "twisted" - the rest is history. You will often find Rhonda working behind the bar. As a family business, it's not uncommon to find Rhonda's children, Ryan, Garrett, and Morgan Eidsor, working around the restaurant, too!

Like our menu, our staff has changed over the years. We rose to fame with Chef Erica Buskirk several years ago, and we are thrilled to announce her return to Twisted as of November 2016. Chef Erica brings the party to the kitchen and the TWISTS to our menu. Watch our Facebook Page for opportunities to interact with the chef, and to share your ideas for ingredients in her wild combinations. Her diverse background goes far beyond working the line in the kitchen - she has managed restaurants and worked in sales for suppliers. One thing is clear, restaurant life is her passion. We love that she tests the limits of creativity, but moreso that she is always willing to accommodate our guests and their dietary needs.

Twisted Cuisine's General Manager, Byron Baker, has been with the team almost since the begining. He started as a server and has worked his way to earning the title of manager. He oversees bar and waitstaff, and is at Twisted almost every night that the restaurant is open. Occasionally, you'll spot Byron's wife and daughter enjoying a meal at Twisted, too - we are all about family here. You may remember Byron as the first person to win the title of "Best Server" in the inaugural Kenosha News "Best of Kenosha County" competition a few years back. We think he is still one of the best, and he helps our whole team to be the best they can be.

The Twistied Cuisine staff prides itself on knowing a lot about our unique menu. If you ask our staff what their favorite items are - they will be able to tell you because we spend time reviewing all our offerings with our staff every time the menu changes. If you have a question about a menu item or ingredient, just ask us. Our team is also knowledgable about our community and we are proud to participate in a number of community events. We are the reigning champions of the Grill Games Community BBQ Competition three years running. Most importantly though, we love getting to know our customers. Most of our guests have become like family. Whether you are dining with us for the first time ever or the thrid time this week, we look forward to serving you.
